Gekko Group Extends 'No Rooms' Retail Portfolio With The Acquisition Of Luxury Womenswear Boutique 'hayashi'

Frankfurt, Germany – June 24, 2024: Leading German Hospitality Collective, Gekko Group has today announced the expansion of its Retail Division No Rooms with the acquisition of German luxury and contemporary womenswear retailer, Hayashi.
As part of the new partnership Hayashi will be rebranded in January 2025 as “Hayashi by No Rooms”. The iconic store concept will be extended to include menswear, alongside its established womenswear collections. Next to the existing physical store in Frankfurt, additional Hayashi by No Rooms retail spaces will be incorporated into hotels and other Gekko Group venues and an ecommerce site will be launched. Hayashi by No Rooms will be led by Kerstin Görling, the founder and owner of Hayashi, who will continue as Head of Buying and Chief Creative Officer.
No Rooms, which was initially introduced in April 2023 as the new retail division of the Gekko Group, is headed by Daniel Steindorf, the previous senior buyer at Solebox & MBCY and founder of the iconic menswear store Uebervart. With additional Gekko Group venues store corners, limited edition product collaborations with artists, as well as their own line of merchandise collection Gekko Group‘s fashion and lifestyle section will continue to grow with the new concept of Hayashi by No Rooms.
The high fashion Frankfurt-based boutique Hayashi officially opened in 2007 by founder Kerstin Görling, famous for her fashion forward buying and her digital presence on social media. Hayashi presents a curated collection of luxury and contemporary womenswear collections from Acne Studios, Victoria Beckham, Ulla Johnson, Nili Lotan, Isabel Marant and MM6 Maison Margiela to name a few. Over the 17 years of business, Hayashi has evolved into one of the most esteemed retail stores in Germany.

Hayashi by No Rooms will officially launch in January 2025 with the rebranded store in Frankfurt, an e-commerce site and Hayashi by No Rooms hotel corners within selected Gekko Group hotel properties.
