Fashion, Food, And Circularity Come Together For An Interactive Experience During Earth Month In Manhattan
By PAGE Editor
Reclypt is creating an interactive experience to explore the circular economy on Saturday, April 13th, from 12 - 5:30p. The Circular Fashion Playground, hosted at the notable sustainable venue, Project Farmhouse, kicks off with Reclypt’s signature mending club; while simultaneously a repair cafe, circular pop-up market, reading nook and more allow attendees to choose their own circular adventure.
Playground goers are encouraged to fill their day with panel discussions from industry leaders, workshops by local artisans, swap clothing and accessories with other attendees, and expand their knowledge of repair and maintenance with tailors, a jewelry spa, embroidery, and more. The event culminates with a mixer that includes circular catering by Purselane.
Reclypt hosts events in NYC to educate and engage all ages about the necessity of circularity and how to access it. We’re here to help you navigate the nuance and ever-changing landscape of "sustainability" while building community along the way. Started by Rachel Ceruti in 2021, Reclypt, believes that a circular approach is the more effective and proactive alternative to the passive and ineffective "sustainable" narrative we’re being sold. By connecting individuals across the circular journey and providing them with resources to explore circular practices, were building the circular economy together.
Reclypt is a hub that explores how we create change in the circular economy, especially if you don’t know what that is. The playground brings together everything that Reclypt champions under one roof, highlighting local circular partners, businesses, and changemakers. The Reclypt community, stemming from climate and fashion, are intergenerational, with a vast range of skills, knowledge, and experience. All are welcome, curious minds encouraged.
